Hello!

My name is Niklas Wiskandt. I am a postdoctoral research associate at the Department of Linguistics of Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, Germany.

I am interested in morphology, syntax and semantics of the world’s languages. My primary research area is the domain of diathesis alternations and grammatical voice. Beyond that, I work on psych predicates, light verb constructions, and urban linguistic fieldwork.

In 2027, I am co-organizing the 11th International Conference on Grammar and Corpora (GaC11) in Düsseldorf. Please consider submitting! Feel free to reach out to me with any questions about the conference.

If you are interested, please have a look at my research interests, my presentations and publications, and my teaching profile.
