Hello!

My name is Niklas Wiskandt. I am a PhD student of General Linguistics at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at the Institute for Linguistics, Department of General Linguistics.

I am interested in morphology, syntax and semantics of the world’s languages. My primary object of research is the syntax-semantics interface of object-experiencer predicates, especially concerning argument marking, voice alternations, and relations between verbs and complex predicates. Beyond that, I work on the typology of grammatical voice and urban linguistic fieldwork.

If you are interested, please have a look at my research interests, my presentations and publications, and my teaching profile.
