This is a site hosted by the HHU’s Centre for Translation Studies. It offers information on projects that are connected by a shared interest in the modes of operation, the cultural and transcultural significance of minor forms. The minor is often seen as embedded in particular, often marginal context, or as transient. As form it is often understood as ephemeral. Where are the archives of minor forms and how do we even begin to engage with them? How can they be accessed, circulated, translated, understood and valued outside of a particular situation? Do minor forms represent particularity at all? These are some of the underlying questions that so far connect
