“Demarginalising Orature – Translating Minor Forms into the Digital Age” is a transdisciplinary course taught at HHU Düsseldorf’s Philosophical Faculty (2022/2023). The course is linked to a research project on Konkomba folktales in Ghana.

Course aim: bringing English translations of the recorded folktales in Likpakpaln into a digitally readable format and creating a space in which different medial products could be assembled to give as full and culturally sensitive a picture as possible of the tale’s cultural significance – and to make them visible and accessible to the research community as well as a wider audience.
